Pest Monitoring Application

We have developed a web and mobile application Treez for the CULS, while the primary purpose of the mobile app is to create new records of the occurrence of pests directly in the field. The basis of both applications is an interactive map and an atlas of pests. When entering a new record, it is possible to simplify the identification of the pest using a photo, select the pest from the available atlas, identify the type of damage and the tree species. If the laic user does not recognize the tree species, he can use an interactive map, which works with a database of trees, and simply display the type of tree species in the given locality when entering the record. For users who need to monitor the occurrence of pests, we have developed the web version of Geoapplication. The number of features available when working with it depends on the level of the user account. The Geoapplication map shows the occurrence of pests, but the exact location of specific records is displayed only to users with a premium account. The last main functionality of the whole application is the administration interface, in which users with administrator rights approve or reject new records, or add a new pest to the atlas.

Shared Office System (Home Office Planner)

We have created a system that allows all employees to seamlessly book and use shared offices. After logging in, the users see an overview of their reservations, they can freely manage them and plan everything in advance. The interactive map of offices and garages shows which seats are vacant or occupied, so everyone can choose and book exactly the spaces they need. This applies to both workplaces and parking spaces. The application enables precise planning and displays free times and possible overlaps with colleagues during the reservation, so that there is never a conflict. Of course, there are free space filters and displays of workplace details after hovering the mouse. In addition, the home office planner allows users to book seats for their colleagues.

Cathode Testing Software

Cathode testing software connects to PLC computer to get the values from cathode testing devices. The software transform the results into readable form in the user interface of the PC application then. The whole design of the new application was focused on creating a new touch screen control feature. Along with the redesign, we also worked on converting the application to a newer .NET and C# (WPF) technology. The original software worked with CODESYS technology, which was first introduced in 1994 and is no longer widely used.

Production Workflow Monitoring

We have developed a software that monitors the workflow of the production and full assembly of all components. The system monitors where, when, by who and for how long the components were assembled and whether they were inspected or returned to the previous workplace for repair. The system uses sixteen PDA barcode readers in respective mobile phones with the Android operating system and four industrial screens that display the current status at individual workplaces. The mobile application was created on the Xamarin platform, the server uses .NET Core and the website was created in Vue.js. Communication takes place via GSM and SIM cards are located both in the PDA itself and in the Raspberry Pi modules. If the device loses internet connection, the data is stored locally and synchronized when the connection is re-established.

Hospital Storage System

Three developers built the system while one of them was focusing on the mobile version. The application consists of three parts and requests from the web or mobile clients are processed in the back-end by a programmed API. Currently, all data is stored in the Microsoft cloud system. The new application is specifically designed for hospital staff and warehouse managers because drivers and other employees use a different system. We have installed the mobile version on handheld scanners that use the Android operating system. After scanning the barcode, the scanner connects to the warehouse database immediately and all important data are exchanged.

Car Sales and Management Software

We created a web application which PSA Group employees can run on their laptop or use a responsive version on their tablets or telephones after they sign in. The original application lacked the necessary information. Since the customer wants to focus more on the sale of used cars, he needs a well-organized application with the current status, technical data, and availability.

Production Management Software

We designed and developed a production management software that tracks every order from beginning to end. The application aggregates all data for each specific order online and allows for easy access. Workers, managers and even clients now have a better overview that is always up to date. The software works in multiple interconnected modules. Project Administration module presents all order information including status tracking, documentation, and history. In Samples module, users browse, specify their needs and request custom samples. Calculation functionality facilitates custom pricing and serves as an asset both for sales and production teams. The most important module is called Production and serves for planning and managing the manufacturing process.

Synchronising Updates On WordPress

Developing a new module for news management on the website and integrating it directly into the internal system used on a daily basis. In this module, the user can quickly and easily create a new news item in both Czech and English and then publish it immediately on the website in the News section. This way, new data is instantly synchronized between the website and the internal system. There is no need to log in or even learn how to use WordPress. At the same time, this module provides automatic import of data from the internal system to WordPress. Thus, everything is done from one place that is familiar to the user.
