In larger companies, robust software is commonly used, a system with many modules that is often tailored directly to the client’s specific requirements.
However, our experience with new clients is often that they use the software, but not everything works as it should and there is no development to speak of. System support for the software is therefore defacto non-existent.
Such software then becomes functionally obsolete, slow and user-unfriendly. While this may not be immediately apparent, it can cause major complications, or in the worst case, problems in key areas of the company such as production, etc.
