Challenge

The customer approached us with a requirement to develop a POS system that would enable the interconnection of individual branches within European countries. We had to ensure that in the event of an internet outage, the entire system would be operational and that sales data would be synchronised to the head office when connection was restored.

Management of the entire HW and network infrastructure was also required, including, for example, separate and time-limited wifi for customers.

  • The customer has a partner for development and for solving all software problems

 

Solution

After the implementation of the application development, we focused on automatic monitoring of individual components, i.e. firewall, databases and application servers. In cases when a problem occurs, or often even before – e.g. processor load or unavailability of some service, we are informed about it and we immediately start with the correction.
