MADAM – Master data management

Challenge

The development of applications for the Chamber of Deputies included the modernisation of the data management solution for the Chamber of Deputies. A large part of the data is now handled by the REST API MADAM (master data management). The aim of the application is to provide:

Data centralization and management.
providing data to other systems
synchronising data with other applications.

Solution

At the beginning, it was important to design the data structure and provide links between the applications – i.e. where to draw data from and what to link it to. Our application synchronises the data with the existing system (which is being considered for a full replacement in the future) and passes it on to the other applications used by the Chamber of Deputies in its operation.
